Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data WinFi collects when you visit winfico.com, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. In short: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and has no forms. We only receive personal data when you choose to contact us or book a meeting.
This policy covers the winfico.com website only. It does not cover WinFi's services (guest WiFi, WinGuard, WinEngage, WinAccess) or the WinFi platform at company.winfi.co. Those are covered by separate privacy notices provided to their users.
1. Who we are
The website winfico.com is operated by WinFi, based in Cairo, Egypt ("WinFi", "we", "us"). WinFi is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect
2.1 Technical data when you visit
Like any website, winfico.com can only be delivered if your browser sends a request to our hosting provider. Each request includes your IP address, your browser and device type (user agent), the page requested and the time of the request. Our hosting provider uses this to deliver the page, protect the site against abuse, and apply country-level access restrictions.
We do not keep website access logs and do not use this data to identify you, build a profile of you, or follow you across other websites.
2.2 Data you send us
- Email. If you email us (for example at leads@winfico.com), we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message, such as your company, job title, phone number or requirements.
- Meeting bookings. If you book a call through our Calendly link, Calendly collects the details you enter on its booking page (typically your name, email address, company and any notes) and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive personal data such as health, financial, religious or biometric information.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage, analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media plugins or any other tracking technology. For that reason there is no cookie banner.
If we ever add a tool that stores or reads information on your device, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before the tool runs.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run the website and handle enquiries, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

We may also disclose personal data to courts, regulators or law enforcement authorities in Egypt when Egyptian law requires it, and to a successor company if WinFi is reorganised or acquired, subject to this policy.
6. Transfers outside Egypt
Some of the providers above process data outside Egypt. Our website is stored in Sweden and delivered through a worldwide network, and meeting bookings are handled in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Egypt, we do so only in accordance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).
7. How long we keep it
- Technical data: we do not store website access logs. Our hosting provider processes request data only as needed to deliver and protect the site.
- Enquiries and meeting records: for 6 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case our customer records policy applies.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.
8. How we protect it
The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS, with HTTP Strict Transport Security), sends browser security headers that restrict which scripts and content can run, and its storage can be reached only through our content delivery network. Access to our systems and mailboxes is limited to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, but we review our measures regularly.
If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Center and you in line with the deadlines set by Egyptian law.
9. Your rights
Under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data erased, or its processing restricted;
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
- object to processing of your data, including for direct marketing;
- be informed of any breach affecting your personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@winfico.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the period set by Egyptian law. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.
10. Third-party sites and content
- Images. Some pages show photographs hosted by Unsplash. When those pages load, your browser requests the images directly from Unsplash, which receives your IP address and browser information. Unsplash's own privacy policy applies to that data.
- Links. Our website links to Calendly, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and the WinFi platform (company.winfi.co). Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that site applies. We are not responsible for how other sites handle your data.
11. Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and highlight significant changes at the top of the page before they take effect.
