WinGuard · Firewall & Network Management

Cloud-Managed Firewall and SD-WAN
for Businesses in Egypt

WinGuard puts every internet line, user and device in your business under one set of rules. Set bandwidth, application and security policies once in the cloud dashboard, and WinGuard enforces them on site — automatically, even when the cloud connection drops.

Hardware for every site size, from 20 to 10,000 users, built and supported by WinFi’s team in Cairo.

What an unmanaged business network costs you

Most slow or failing networks come down to three problems. WinGuard is built to remove all three.

One heavy user slows everyone

A single large download or stream at peak hour can take the bandwidth your team needs for calls, payments and systems.

One line down, whole site down

With a single ISP line and no failover, every outage stops sales, bookings and work until the line comes back.

No visibility

Without per-user data you cannot see who is using what, prove that your ISP is under-delivering, or spot an unknown device.

Bandwidth control and QoS that keep work traffic first

Decide who gets how much, when, and for what — then let WinGuard enforce it on every device.

Per-user bandwidth shaping

Set download and upload limits per user, group or policy. CAKE queue shaping shares capacity fairly, so no single device starves the rest.

Application control

Allow, block or throttle apps by category or by name — streaming, social media, gaming, VPNs — on a schedule that matches your working hours.

Traffic prioritisation

Keep Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and business systems ahead of recreational traffic, so calls stay clear at peak hours.

Time and quota policies

Apply time rules, daily or monthly data quotas, device-type limits and a cap on concurrent devices per policy.

Multi-WAN load balancing and SD-WAN for every branch

Use every internet line you pay for, and connect your branches without public IPs or a single ISP.

Multi-WAN load balancing

Run two or more internet lines at once. PCC (per-connection classifier) load balancing spreads sessions across lines for more usable capacity.

Failover between lines

When a line drops, traffic carries on over the lines that are still up, and you get an alert.

SD-WAN between branches

Connect branches securely over any ISP or connection type — no public IP addresses or fixed connection type required.

Fixed lines and 4G together

Combine fixed-line internet with 4G backup, and manage all of it from the same dashboard.

Firewall and threat protection, managed from the cloud

Security policies written once in the dashboard and enforced on site, with no manual rule-writing on each device.

Threat intelligence engine

Detects and blocks known malicious traffic in real time, before it reaches your users.

User authentication

Identity-aware access per user or group, so policies follow people, not only IP addresses.

Offline policy enforcement

Policies are stored on the device. If the cloud connection drops, the last policy you pushed keeps running.

Third-party integrations

Integrate WinGuard with your existing systems and user directories.

Internet line monitoring and real-time alerts

Know a line is failing before your customers or staff tell you — and have the data to hold your ISP to account.

Live line telemetry

Download, upload, latency, packet loss and data consumed for every line, refreshed every 20 seconds.

Failure notifications

Alerts the moment a line goes down, latency crosses your threshold, or packet loss rises above the level you set.

Any time range

Look back over any past hour, day or week to confirm exactly when an issue started and how long it lasted.

Session and device manager

See who is connected right now, with IP and MAC address per device; assign users to policies and search connection history.

WinGuard hardware for 20 to 10,000 users

Whatever the size of your site, there is a WinGuard device built for it — from 20 users up to 10,000.

20 to 10,000 users

From a small office or kiosk to a campus, mall or hospitality group.

Sized for your site

We match the device to the number of people and devices online at the same time during the site survey.

Arrives pre-configured

Installed by WinFi engineers and ready for your network on day one.

One software, one dashboard

Every WinGuard device runs the same features, managed from the same cloud dashboard.

How a WinGuard rollout works

  1. 1

    Site survey and design

Our engineers review your lines, switches and cabling, confirm where the device goes and finalise the network design.

  2. 2

    Pre-configured install

The WinGuard device arrives configured for your site and is installed inline with your network.

  3. 3

    Cloud setup and testing

Policies, QoS and line failover are configured in the dashboard and every traffic path is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Training and handover

Your admins are trained on the dashboard and policy management, with documentation and a support handover.

WinGuard FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most often.

What is WinGuard?

WinGuard is WinFi’s cloud-managed firewall and network management platform. A WinGuard device sits on site between your internet lines and your network, and you control it from the WinFi cloud dashboard: bandwidth, applications, security policies, multiple internet lines and line monitoring.

Does WinGuard keep working if the internet or the cloud connection goes down?

Yes. Policies are stored on the device, so the last policy pushed from the dashboard keeps being enforced without a cloud connection. If you have more than one internet line, traffic continues over the lines that are still working.

Can WinGuard combine several internet lines?

Yes. WinGuard load-balances traffic across two or more lines using per-connection classification (PCC), including a mix of fixed lines and 4G, and alerts you when a line fails or degrades.

What size of network can WinGuard handle?

WinGuard hardware supports networks from 20 up to 10,000 users. WinFi sizes the device to the number of people and devices online at the same time during the site survey.

Can I manage several branches from one place?

Yes. Every branch appears in one cloud dashboard, and SD-WAN connects branches securely without public IP addresses.

Where does WinFi install WinGuard?

WinFi is based in Cairo and serves businesses across Egypt, including Cairo, New Cairo and Alexandria. Contact sales to confirm coverage for your sites.

How is WinGuard priced?

Pricing depends on the hardware model, the number of users and whether you add WinFi’s managed network service. Book a call and we will prepare a quote for your sites.
